Morgan Stanley Closed-End Funds Announce Appointment of New Directors

Morgan Stanley Asia-Pacific Fund, Inc. APF, Morgan Stanley China A Share Fund, Inc. CAF, Morgan Stanley Eastern Europe Fund, Inc. RNE, Morgan Stanley Emerging Markets Debt Fund, Inc. MSD, Morgan Stanley Emerging Markets Domestic Debt Fund, Inc. EDD, Morgan Stanley Emerging Markets Fund, Inc. MSF, Morgan Stanley Income Securities Inc. ICB, The Latin American Discovery Fund, Inc. Everett to serve as a Class II director (Class I for Morgan Stanley Income Securities Inc.) and Jakki L. Haussler to serve as a Class III director, each effective as of January 1, 2015.

Ms. Everett is currently the Owner of OBIR, LLC (since June 2014). She was formerly a Managing Director at BlackRock, Inc. (February 2011-December 2013) and Chief Executive Officer of General Motors Asset Management (a/k/a Promark Global Advisors, Inc.) (June 2005-May 2010). Ms. Haussler is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Opus Capital Group (since January 1996). She was formerly a Director at Capvest Venture Fund, LP (May 2000-December 2011), Partner at Adena Ventures, LP (July 1999-December 2010) and a Director of The Victory Funds (February 2005-July 2008).
