Aeropostale Reports September Same Store Sales Increase 3%

Aeropostale, Inc.

today announced that total net sales for the five-week period ended October 2, 2010 increased 9% to $204.2 million compared to $187.3 million for the five-week period ended October 3, 2009. The Company's same store sales increased 3% for the month, compared to a same store sales increase of 19% in the year ago period. Year to date, total net sales have increased 10% to $1.415 billion, from $1.290 billion in the year ago period. Year to date, same store sales have increased 4%, compared to a same store sales increase of 12% last year.
