Walker & Dunlop Announces Secondary Offering by Certain Stockholders of 2,000,000 Shares

BETHESDA, Md., Nov. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Walker & Dunlop, Inc. (the "Company") WD announced today the commencement of an underwritten offering of 2,000,000 shares of its common stock, par value $0.01 per share, held by funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group LLC FIG.  The Company will not receive any proceeds from this offering.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC will act as underwriter for this offering.  The underwriter may offer the shares from time to time for sale in one or more transactions on the New York Stock Exchange, in the over-the-counter market, through negotiated transactions or otherwise at market prices prevailing at the time of sale, at prices related to prevailing market prices or at negotiated prices. 

The offering of the shares will be made under the Company's shelf registration statement, which was previously declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The offering will be made only by means of a prospectus supplement and prospectus, which will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
