Kenneth S. Janke Jr. Promoted to Executive Vice President and Deputy Chief Financial Officer, Aflac Incorporated

Aflac Incorporated today announced that Kenneth S. Janke Jr. has been promoted from senior vice president, Investor Relations to executive vice president and deputy chief financial officer of Aflac Incorporated, reporting to Aflac Incorporated President and Chief Financial Officer Kriss Cloninger III. Additionally, Robin Y. Wilkey has been promoted from vice president, Investor Relations to senior vice president, Investor Relations, assuming the responsibilities previously held by Janke and reporting to Aflac Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Daniel P. Amos. Both promotions will be effective October 1, 2010. Martin A. Durant III will continue in his role as executive vice president and deputy chief financial officer until his expected retirement at the end of 2011.
