Thomas Coleman Joins WebMD's Board of Directors

today announced that its Board of Directors has unanimously appointed Thomas J. Coleman to the Board, effective immediately, expanding the membership of the Board from 12 to 13. Mr. Coleman is a co-Founder and co-President of Kensico Capital Management Corp., which is the owner of approximately 11.4% of WebMD's outstanding shares. "We are pleased to welcome Tom to the Company's Board of Directors," said Martin J. Wygod, Chairman of the Board of WebMD. "Tom brings to our Board many years of experience analyzing, and realizing value for his investors from, a broad spectrum of companies.
