• Huntsman Corporation HUN is close to an agreement to merge with Clariant in a deal valued at around $14 billion, according to the Wall Street Journal. Huntsman shares gained 3.37 percent to close at $26.71 on Friday.
• Analysts are expecting Nordson Corporation NDSN to have earned $1.31 per share on revenue of $472.24 million in the latest quarter. Nordson will release earnings after the markets close. Nordson shares rose 1.21 percent to close at $129.30 on Friday.
