Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc LL shares are trading higher by $1.40 at $22.39 in Monday's session. The issue has been on a tear since its Q4 beat was announced on February 21. The company exceeded Wall Street estimates for EPS by $0.11 and by $7.7 million for revenues. On the day of that report, it leaped from $15.36 to $17.98 and spent very little time below that price embarking on another leg higher.
It is now trading higher for the fifth day in a row, climbing from its March 27 close to $22.73 earlier in Monday's session. That high is just shy of its June 2015 high, when it peaked at $23.20.
It should be noted that both Friday and Monday's price action is taking place on much higher than average volume. After 1.75 million shares changed hands on Friday, already nearly 2 million share shares have traded Monday with just under four hours remaining in the the session. That is compared to its 20-day average volume of 727,000.
