Applied Materials Tumbles On Sales Miss

Applied Materials, Inc. AMAT reports Q4 EPS of $0.66, beating the Street’s consensus by $0.01.
Revenue of $3.3 billion, up 39.2 percent year-over-year, missed estimates by $10 million.
Management sees Q1 revenue of $3.2 billion to $3.34 billion, above estimates of $3.12 billion.
The company guided for Q1 EPS of $0.62 to $0.70, versus expectations for $0.58 in EPS.
Shares are trading down 4 percent in Thursday’s after-hours session.
