• Analysts expect salesforce.com, inc. CRM to post quarterly earnings at $0.21 per share on revenue of $2.12 billion after the closing bell. salesforce.com shares gained 0.12 percent to $73.40 in after-hours trading.
• NetApp Inc. NTAP reported better-than-expected earnings for its second quarter and issued a strong earnings forecast for the current quarter. NetApp shares limbed 10.83 percent to $38.49 in the after-hours trading session.
• After the markets close, Applied Materials, Inc. AMAT is expected to post its quarterly earnings at $0.65 per share on revenue of $3.31 billion. Applied Materials shares rose 0.60 percent to $30.20 in after-hours trading.
• Analysts are expecting Staples, Inc. SPLS to have earned $0.34 per share on revenue of $5.40 billion in the latest quarter. Staples will release earnings before the markets open. Staples shares gained 1.89 percent to $9.15 in after-hours trading.
