  • After the markets close, Alphabet Inc GOOGL is estimated to post its quarterly earnings at $0.98 per share on revenue of $1.00 billion. Alphabet shares rose 0.47 percent to $826.00 in pre-market trading.
  • Groupon Inc GRPN reported better-than-expected results for its third quarter and announced plans to acquire LivingSocial Inc. for an undisclosed sum. Groupon shares fell 8.56 percent to $4.81 in pre-market trading.
  • Analysts are expecting Ford Motor Company F to have earned $0.22 per share on revenue of $32.70 billion in the latest quarter. Ford will release earnings before the markets open. Ford shares slipped 0.08 percent to $11.87 in after-hours trading.
  • Before the opening bell, Marathon Petroleum Corp MPC is estimated to report its quarterly earnings at $0.82 per share on revenue of $17.00 billion. Marathon Petroleum shares gained 0.02 percent to $44.27 in after-hours trading.

  • Tesla Motors Inc TSLA reported better-than-expected earnings for its third quarter. Tesla said it still expects to deliver about 50,000 new vehicles during the second half of the year, with Q4 deliveries “just over” 25,000 units. Tesla shares climbed 4.45 percent to $211.24 in pre-market trading.
  • After the closing bell, Expedia Inc EXPE is projected to post its quarterly earnings at $2.48 per share on revenue of $2.56 billion. Expedia shares declined 1.91 percent to close at $125.54 on Wednesday.
  • Analysts expect McKesson Corporation MCK to post its quarterly earnings at $3.07 per share on revenue of $51.31 billion after the closing bell. McKesson shares gained 0.04 percent to close at $158.57 on Wednesday.
  • Buffalo Wild Wings BWLD reported in-line earnings for its third quarter on Wednesday. Buffalo Wild Wings shares rose 4.66 percent to $141.40 in the after-hours trading session.
