Take A Bite Out Of This Fast Food Guide To The Q3 Earnings Season

will continue the earnings season for fast food companies on Friday. Investor sentiment remained subdued in the pre-market trading on Friday.

In the last four quarters, the company's EPS topped estimates between 5.10 percent and 9.40 percent. Currently, Street analysts expect the fast-food chain to earn $1.49 EPS on revenue of $6.28 billion for the third quarter.

The following companies will also be reporting their results in the coming days:

  • Sonic Corporation SONC will announce results on October 24. Street analysts expect EPS of $0.44 and revenue of $167.15 million.
  • Wendys Co WEN will release its results on November 9. Analysts expect EPS of $0.10 on revenue of $350.65 million.
  • Jack in the Box Inc. JACK will announce results on November 21. The Street expects $0.88 EPS on revenue of $398.71 million.
  • Restaurant Brands International Inc QSR has yet to announce its third-quarter results announcement date. Analysts expect EPS of $0.41 on revenue of $1.06 billion.

The following companies have already reported their results:

  • Yum! Brands, Inc. YUM missed earnings estimated by a penny. The company earned $1.09, while the Street expected $1.10.
  • Dunkin Brands Group Inc DNKN results topped estimates by a penny. The company reported adjusted EPS of $0.60 whereas analysts predicted $0.59.

In the pre-market trading before McDonald's announced, the stock was down 0.06 percent to $110.50..
