Hershey And 6 Others Stocks Moving In Monday's After-Hours Session

U.S. stocks edged higher on Monday trading, helped by strong performance among financial companies.

Hershey Co HSY tumbled more than 11.4 percent after the market closed, after Mondelez International Inc MDLZ said it was no longer in talks to acquire it as they had found no actionable path to an agreement. Shares of Mondelez traded up more than 3.6 percent in Monday’s after-hours session.

United Continental Holdings Inc UAL rose more than 1.15 percent, driven by the announcement that it named Scott Kirby as its new President. Kirby previously served as American Airlines Group Inc AAL’s President.

Phibro Animal Health Corp PAHC traded slightly up on Monday afternoon, after the company posted a top and bottom line beat for Q4. EPS of $0.40 compared to expectations for $0.38, and revenue of $189.2 million beat estimates by $5.58 million.

Nano-cap Bonanza Creek Energy Inc BCEI was one of the largest gainers in Monday’s after-hours session, skyrocketing more than 43 percent after receiving a notice from the NYSE. Continued listing standards require for the stock's trailing 30-day average closing price to stand above $1.00. The NYSE provides a six-month cure period, over which the company plans to return to compliance, spokespeople said.

Catalent Inc CTLT was down 4.3 percent on the back of an earnings beat. While Q4 revenue of $532.2 million managed to beat expectations by $29.95 million, EPS of $0.52 fell $0.01 short of estimates.
