L Brands Offers Favorable Q2 Outlook In July Comps Update

L Brands Inc LB reported July 2016 sales guidance and updates on Thursday morning. In addition, the company reported comps up 2 percent.

Management saw Q2 EPS at the high end of $0.50-$0.60 range vs. $0.57 estimates. In addition, L Brands reported net sales of $2.890 billion for the 13 weeks ended July 30, an increase of 5 percent compared to sales of $2.765 billion for the 13 weeks ended August 1, 2015.

L Brand's full earnings report is still expected to be released in the near future.

At time of writing, L Brands traded flat at $75.52 in Thursday's pre-market session.
