  • Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. BBBY reported weaker-than-expected earnings for its first quarter on Wednesday. Bed Bath & Beyond shares dropped 4.26 percent to $41.34 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts expect Accenture Plc ACN to report its quarterly earnings at $1.41 per share on revenue of $8.34 billion. Accenture shares rose 0.29 percent to $119.37 in pre-market trading.

  • Red Hat Inc RHT reported in-line earnings for its first quarter, but exceeded analysts’ sales estimates. The company issued a weak earnings forecast and announced a $1 billion buyback program. Red Hat also announced plans to acquire API management leader 3scale. Red Hat shares dropped 6.71 percent to $74.40 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts are expecting Commercial Metals Company CMC to have earned $0.25 per share on revenue of $1.15 billion in the latest quarter. Commercial Metals shares declined 0.65 percent to close at $16.80 on Wednesday.
  • Herman Miller, Inc. MLHR reported upbeat results for its fourth quarter and issued a strong forecast for the current quarter. The company also raised its quarterly dividend from $0.1475 per share to $0.17 per share. Herman Miller shares surged 5.90 percent to $33.05 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Steelcase Inc. SCS reported better-than-expected results for its first quarter, but issued a weak outlook for the second quarter. Steelcase shares dipped 14.46 percent to $12.60 in the after-hours trading session.
