In a light earnings session, Ruby Tuesday reported earnings and revenue misses in after-hours session. Analysts saw the casual diner franchise reporting EPS of $0.05 and revenue of $284M, while the company reported EPS $0.03 and revenue of $271.5M. Coupled with this poor performance, Ruby Tuesday also announced that their Chief Financial Officer Jill Golder was resigning after three years with the company. Capping off the poor performance, Ruby Tuesday also lowered their top and bottom line fiscal year 2016 outlook. Instead of reporting adjusted net income at $0.12 To $0.17 estimate for the coming year, the company now sees $0.05 to $0.08. Same-restaurant sales guidance was also lowered from flat to up 1%, to a decrease of 1%. Shares of Ruby Tuesday hit a low of $4.02 before rebounding to $4.40/share, down 15.55% after hours.
