4 Stocks Moving In Wednesday's After-Hours Session

Box Inc BOX was one of the largest gainers in Wednesday's after-hours session, following the announcement of the company’s fourth quarter results. The shares were up about 11.5 percent after the small-cap tech firm posted a net loss of $(0.26) per share, $0.03 better than the Street’s consensus. Revenue of $ 84.98 million also came in above expectations for $ 81.71 million.

Omega Protein Corporation OME was trading down almost 18 percent after the market closed. The company posted fourth quarter earnings of $0.29 per share, $0.19 below the Street’s consensus estimate. Revenue of $82.3 million, down 19.7 percent year-over-year, missed expectations by $19.53 million.

Cobalt International Energy, Inc. CIE also tumbled. Since the bell rang, shares lost more than 9 percent, in what seemed like a correction of the 11.83 percent surge witnessed during the day.

Finally, there’s Square Inc SQ, which was trading up about 1.25 percent in Wednesday’s after-hours session, following the announcement of its fourth quarter financial results – the first time since its IPO. The company posted a net loss of $(0.20) per share, worse than the Street’s estimate of $(0.14) per share. Revenue of $374.36 million came in above expectations for $341.14 million.
