Yamana Gold Reports Mixed Q4, Shares Gain 0.75%

were trading higher by 0.75 percent at $2.70 on Friday after the company reported its
fourth quarter results
. Yamana Gold said that it lost $0.01 per share in the fourth quarter on revenue of $463 million. Wall Street analysts were expecting the company to lose $0.02 per share on revenue of $472.82 million. Adjusted loss for the quarter totaled $7.5 million, marking an improvement from the $16.2 million the company lost in the same quarter a year ago. However, adjusted loss for the total year was $73.7 million, compared to an earnings of $41.5 million in 2014. Yamana Gold noted that it achieved a record total production of 1.28 million ounces of gold in its full fiscal year, including 345,788 ounces of gold in the fourth quarter. The company added that its cash costs per ounce of gold totaled $596 per ounce for the full year and $541 per ounce in the fourth quarter. All-in sustaining costs of gold totaled $842 per ounce for the full year and $753 per ounce in the fourth quarter. Yamana Gold also added that it produced 9.0 million ounces of silver at a cash cost of $7.12 per ounce for the full year and achieved production of 131.0 million pounds of copper at a cost of $1.46 per pound.
