US Stock Futures Edge Lower Ahead Of Economic Data

US stock futures traded lower in early pre-market trade. Data on import & export prices for October will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET, while wholesale inventories data for September will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 25 points to 17,650.0, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures fell 2.50 points to 2,070.50. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index declined 8.25 points to 4,644.50.

European markets were lower today, with the Spanish Ibex Index falling 0.63 percent, STOXX Europe 600 Index dropping 0.48 percent and German DAX 30 index declining 0.46 percent. French CAC 40 Index slipped 0.54 percent and London's FTSE 100 Index fell 0.48 percent. In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei Stock jumped 0.15 percent, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 1.43 percent, China's Shanghai Composite Index declined 0.18 percent and India's BSE Sensex declined 1.45 percent.
