China Mobile Posts Rise In Profit

reported a 3.4 percent rise in its net profit for the January-to-September period. China Mobile's said net profit for the first nine months climbed to 85.42 billion yuan ($13.44 billion), from CNY82.60 billion in the prior year. The company's operating revenue surged 6.5 percent to CNY512.74 billion from CNY481.24 billion. China Mobile shares fell 0.02 percent to close at $61.43 yesterday.
