Monday's After-Hours Movers Led By Post-Earnings IBM, Sonic, Flextronics & Others

Shares of International Business Machines Corp. IBM are down more than 3 percent on Monday’s after-hours trading session, following the announcement of the company’s third quarter financial results.

After the market closed, the tech giant reported earnings of $3.34 per share on revenue of $19.28 billion, beating the Street’s consensus estimate on the earnings front but missing on the revenue front – experts were modeling EPS of $3.33 on revenue of $19.556 billion.

Also falling on its earnings report is Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. HA, down almost 1 percent since the bell rang. However, the small-cap airliner delivered a strong quarter, with earnings of $1.29 per share on revenue of $631.74 billion, surpassing the Street’s estimate of $1.19 per share and $629.31 million.

On the other hand, Sonic Corporation SONC is up almost 5 percent in after-hours, following its earnings call. The small cap restaurants operator and franchisor delivered earnings of $0.43 per share on revenue of $175.27 million, pretty much in line with the Street’s expectations.

Flextronics International Ltd. FLEX is up (more than 6 percent) on its financial results as well. The Singapore-based provider of global supply chain solutions delivered earnings of $0.27 per share on revenue of $6.317 billion, above the Street’s estimate of $0.25 per share and $6.15 billion, and also above guidance.

Other stocks moving big on Monday’s after-hours include:

• Energy Recovery, Inc. ERII, up more than 11 percent
• Zogenix, Inc. ZGNX, down roughly 12.5 percent
• America Movil SAB de CV (ADR) AMX, down over 4.5 percent
• Sibanye Gold Ltd (ADR) SBGL, up about 2 percent.
