Wall Street expects Alcoa Inc (NYSE: AA) to post its Q2 earnings at $0.23 per share on revenue of $5.79 billion. Alcoa shares gained 1.04 percent to $11.18 in the after-hours trading session.
Container Store Group Inc (NYSE: TCS) reported a narrower-than-expected loss for its first quarter. Container Store shares jumped 6.34 percent to $18.63 in after-hours trading.
Analysts expect WD-40 Company (NASDAQ: WDFC) to post its Q3 earnings at $0.76 per share on revenue of $99.40 million. WD-40 shares rose 0.17 percent to close at $87.25 yesterday.
Shares of DepoMed Inc (NASDAQ: DEPO) jumped more than 38 percent Tuesday after Horizon Pharma PLC (NASDAQ: HZNP) proposed to acquire DepoMed for $29.25 per share in stock. DepoMed shares rose 0.10 percent to $28.65 in the after-hours trading session, while Horizon Pharma shares slipped 1.06 percent to $33.50 in after-hours trading.
EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC) is selling Dropbox competitor Syncplicity to SkyView Capital LLC. Financial terms were not disclosed. EMC shares rose 1.10 percent to close at $26.60 yesterday.
