Nissan Posts Rise In Profit

reported a 3.3 percent gain in its net profit for the recent quarter. Nissan's quarterly net income climbed to Yen118.76 billion ($990 million). Its sales surged 2.6 percent to Yen3.29 trillion. For the full financial year, Nissan's net profit jumped 32 percent to Yen694.23 billion. The company expected net income of Yen485 billion for the year ending March 31, 2016. Nissan shares fell 0.19 percent to close at $20.82 yesterday.
