GOME Electrical Appliances Full-Year Profit Surges

China's

reported a 43% rise in its 2014 net profit. The company's net profit for the year climbed to 1.28 billion yuan (US$206 million), versus a year-ago profit of CNY892.5 million. Earnings per share climbed to 7.6 in RMB fen from 5.3. Pretax profit jumped to RMB 1.58 billion versus RMB 1.19 billion. Its revenue surged 7% to CNY60.36 billion. The company's board proposed a final dividend of HK$1.80 cents a share.
