Wharf Holdings Full-Year Net Profit Rises

reported a 22% gain in its 2014 net profit. Wharf Holdings posted a net profit of 35.93 billion Hong Kong dollar (US$4.62 billion) for the year, versus a year-ago profit of HK$29.38 billion. Its revenue climbed 20% to HK$38.14 billion, while underlying core profit slipped 7% to HK$10.47 billion. The company's board declared a total dividend of HK$1.81 per share, compared to HK$1.70 in 2013. Wharf Holdings shares fell 1.25% to close at $13.47 on Friday.
