Adecco Posts Higher Q4 Profit

reported a 6% rise in its profit for the three months ended December 31. Adecco's quarterly net profit increased to 185 million euros ($198 million), versus a year-ago profit of EUR174 million. Its revenue gained to EUR5.17 billion from EUR4.98 billion. Analysts were expecting a profit of EUR153 million on revenue of EUR5.2 billion. For 2014, Adecco's net income gained 14% to 638 million euros versus 557 million euros, while EPS climbed to 3.61 euros from 3.08 euros. Adecco shares rose 0.51% to close at $37.79 yesterday.
