posted a profit in the fourth quarter. The Bellevue, Washington-based company reported a quarterly profit of $101 million, or $0.12 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $20 million, or $0.03 per share. Its revenue climbed 19.4% to $8.15 billion. However, analysts were expecting a profit of $0.05 per share on revenue of $7.89 billion. Adjusted EBITDA climbed 41.3% to $1.8 billion in the quarter, while adjusted EBITDA margin widened to 30%. During the fourth quarter, the company added a net 2.1 million customers. In 2014, the company added a net 4.9 million branded postpaid customers. T-Mobile US projects 2.2 to 3.2 million additions of branded postpaid customers in 2015. "2014 was the best year of growth in company history," said John Legere, President and CEO of T-Mobile. "Our Un-carrier moves helped us blow away the competition. The best is yet to come as the future looks bright in 2015." T-Mobile US shares fell 2.39% to close at $31.00 yesterday.
