Many retailers report their previous month's sales data on the first Thursday of every new month.
Here is a list of retailers that reported November sales data:
  • The Buckle BKE reported its total November sales 2.7 percent from a year ago to $104.0 million. November same-store sales declined one percent.
  • Cato CATO reported its total November sales rose ten percent from a year ago to $73.8 million. November same-store sales rose seven percent.
  • Costco Wholesale COST reported its total November sales rose seven percent from a year ago to $9.43 billion. November same-store sales rose five percent while U.S. comparable-store sales rose seven percent in the U.S. and -1 percent internationally.
  • L Brands LB reported its total November sales rose nine percent from a year ago to $1.08 billion. November same-store sales rose eight percent.
  • Rite Aid RAD reported its total November sales rose 5.1 percent from a year ago to $6.65 billion. November same-store sales rose 5.4 percent.

reported its third quarter results this morning. The company earned $0.76 per share, missing the consensus estimate of $0.80. Revenue rose eight percent from a year ago to $4.72 billion, falling short of the consensus estimate of $4.75 billion. Same-store sales for the quarter rose 2.8 percent.
