C.H. Robinson Worldwide Beats On 3Q EPS

C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. CHRW reported financial results Tuesday for 3Q 2014, ended September 30, 2014.

The company reported total revenue of $3.467 billion, below the average estimate of $3.5 billion and above the $3.316 billion reported for the same period in 2013, an increase of 4.5 percent.

Diluted EPS was $0.85, above the average estimate of $0.80 and above the $0.69 reported for the same period in 2013, and increase of 23.2 percent.

Revenue increased across all business segments except for sourcing which decreased 2.5 percent in the third quarter of 2014 compared to the third quarter of 2013.  The company continued to experience volume and net revenue declines from a large customer.

C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. traded at $72.35 in the aftermarket, up 0.01 percent.
