Xylem Guides Lower Range For Full-Year 2014

Xylem Inc XYL reported earnings that beat expectations by $0.01 on an EPS basis. Consensus was for Q3 earnings at $0.52 per share and Xylem delivered $0.53 on adjusted net income of $97 million.

GAAP net income came in at $106 million and the firm narrowed guidance for 2014 in the range of $1.92 to $1.98 per share.

Shares were trading up 2.7 percent at $35.97.
