Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HPQ) reported in-line earnings for the third quarter and narrowed its FY14 earnings guidance. The company's revenue beat analysts' expectations. Hewlett-Packard shares fell 0.91% to $34.80 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts are expecting Gap (NYSE: GPS) to have earned $0.69 per share on revenue of $3.96 billion in the second quarter. Gap shares climbed 0.32% to $43.25 in the after-hours trading session.
Hormel Foods (NYSE: HRL) is estimated to report its Q3 earnings at $0.48 per share on revenue of $2.23 billion. Hormel Foods shares gained 0.61% to $48.15 in after-hours trading.
Semtech (NASDAQ: SMTC) reported better-than-expected second-quarter results. Semtech shares climbed 4.79% to $25.15 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts expect Sears Holdings (NASDAQ: SHLD) to post a Q2 loss at $2.63 per share on revenue of $8.13 billion. Sears shares surged 0.14% to $36.00 in after-hours trading.
The Cato (NYSE: CATO) is projected to report its Q2 earnings at $0.52 per share on revenue of $246.00 million. Cato shares declined 0.35% to close at $34.00 yesterday.
