PriceSmart Shares Slide After Fiscal Q3 Revenue Misses Analyst Estimates

fell four percent after the close Thursday following fiscal third-quarter sales that fell short of analyst estimates. The San Diego-based operator of warehouse clubs said revenue for the quarter totaled $615 million, compared with the average analyst estimate of $621.94 million. Revenue for the quarter increased 7.6 percent from the $571.7 million in the year-earlier period. PriceSmart posted net income of $21.3 million, or $0.70 per share, compared with the average analyst estimate of $0.69 per share. PriceSmart shares last traded at $83.00.
