BRK-A) reported a drop in its first-quarter profit. Berkshire's quarterly profit fell to $4.71 billion, or $2,862 per Class A share, versus a year-ago profit of $4.89 billion, or $2,977 per share. Its operating profit slipped to $2,149 per share from $2,302 per share. However, analysts were projecting operating earnings of $2,172 per share. Berkshire Hathaway shares fell 0.63% to close at $192,255.00 on Friday.
Analysts are expecting American International Group
AIG to have earned $1.07 per share on revenue of $9.35 billion in the first quarter. AIG shares declined 1.11% to close at $52.35 on Friday.
Occidental Petroleum
OXY is projected to report its Q1 earnings at $1.70 per share on revenue of $6.21 billion. Occidental Petroleum shares dipped 0.58% to close at $94.44 on Friday.
JPMorgan
JPM updated its forecast. The bank projected Q2 revenue to drop by around 20% versus the year-ago period. JPMorgan shares fell 1.46% to $54.77 in pre-market trading.
Analysts expect Pfizer
PFE to report its Q1 earnings at $0.55 per share on revenue of $12.09 billion. Pfizer shares dropped 1.28% to close at $30.75 on Friday.
