reported better-than-expected second-quarter earnings. Apollo Education posted its quarterly adjusted earnings of $0.28 per share on revenue of $679.1 million. However, analysts were projecting earnings of $0.19 per share on revenue of $689.4 million. Apollo Education shares dipped 6.03% to $33.04 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts are expecting Acuity Brands

to have earned $0.83 per share on revenue of $553.95 million in the second quarter. Acuity Brands shares rose 0.67% to close at $133.46 yesterday. Mannkind

reported that the FDA Advisory Committee recommended the approval of the company's diabetes drug AFREZZA. Mannkind shares jumped 110.45% to $8.46 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts expect Texas Industries

to post a Q3 loss at $0.55 per share on revenue of $187.46 million. Texas Industries shares rose 0.07% to $89.62 in after-hours trading.
