Seven & I Posts 32% Surge In Profit

Japanese Seven & I Holdings Co

reported a 32% rise in its profit for the nine-month period. Seven & I's net profit climbed to Y128.02 billion ($1.2 billion), versus a year-ago profit of Y96.96 billion. Its revenue rose 13.8% to Y4.187 trillion from Y3.678 trillion, while operating profit jumped 15.1% to Y249.14 billion. Seven & I shares closed at $79.60 yesterday.
