DKS reported a drop in its third-quarter profit.
Dick's quarterly profit fell to $50.0 million, or $0.40 per share, versus a year-ago profit of $50.1 million, or $0.40 per share.
Its revenue climbed to $1.40 billion from $1.31 billion. However, analysts were estimating earnings of $0.39 per share on revenue of $1.37 billion.
For FY13, it projects earnings of $2.62 to $2.65 per share.
Dick's shares declined 0.09% to $56.30 in pre-market trading.
