Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

Wall Street expects CarMax (NYSE: KMX) to report its Q2 earnings at $0.57 per share on revenue of $3.16 billion. CarMax shares fell 2.31% to close at $50.01 yesterday.

Greenway Medical Technologies (NASDAQ: GWAY) agreed to be acquired by Vista Equity Partners for $20.35 per share. Greenway Medical shares jumped 17.92% to $20.20 in the after-hours trading session.

Analysts are expecting Carnival (NYSE: CCL) to have earned $1.30 per share on revenue of $4.65 billion in the third quarter. Carnival shares declined 0.43% to $37.24 in after-hours trading.

Shares of BlackBerry (NASDAQ: BBRY) gained 1.09% yesterday after the company agreed to a $4.7 billion sale to Fairfax Financial Holdings. BlackBerry shares fell 0.68% to $8.76 in the after-hours trading session.

Analysts expect Lennar (NYSE: LEN) to report its Q3 earnings at $0.45 per share on revenue of $1.56 billion. Lennar shares gained 0.98% to $34.88 in after-hours trading.
