Carrefour Swings To H1 Profit

swung to a profit in the first half of the year. Carrefour posted a net profit of 902 million euros ($1.2 billion), versus a year-ago loss of EUR31 million. Its revenue dropped 1% to EUR41 billion, while earnings before interest and taxes climbed 4.9% to EUR766 million. Carrefour shares closed at $6.05 yesterday.
