Amira Nature Foods (NYSE: ANFI) reported better-than-expected fiscal first-quarter results. Amira shares jumped 11.51% to $8.91 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts are expecting Brown Shoe Co (NYSE: BWS) to have earned $0.22 per share on revenue of $596.73 million in the second quarter. Brown Shoe shares gained 1.90% to $24.15 in after-hours trading.
Hedge fund manager William Ackman announced his plans to sell his entire stake, or 39 million shares, of J. C. Penney Company (NYSE: JCP). J. C. Penney shares fell 1.72% to $13.12 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts expect Sanderson Farms (NASDAQ: SAFM) to report its Q3 earnings at $2.62 per share on revenue of $722.45 million. Sanderson Farms shares surged 2.82% to $71.76 in after-hours trading.
