Nielsen Holdings NV (NYSE: NLSN) will replace Sprint Nextel (NYSE: S) in the S&P 500 index after the close of trading on July 8. Nielsen shares surged 3.67% to $34.50 in the after-hours trading session, while Sprint shares rose 0.71% to close at $7.07 yesterday.
Analysts expect Greenbrier Companies (NYSE: GBX) to report its Q3 earnings at $0.55 per share on revenue of $503.08 million. Greenbrier shares fell 2.75% to close at $23.70 yesterday.
A. Schulman (NASDAQ: SHLM) reported downbeat third-quarter results and lowered its outlook for the year. A. Shulman shares tumbled 13.40% to $24.10 in the after-hours trading session.
Zynga (NASDAQ: ZNGA) named former Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) executive Don Mattrick as its new chief executive officer. Zynga shares jumped 5.86% to $3.25 in after-hours trading, while Microsoft shares gained 0.72% to $34.61 in the after-hours trading session.
