UPDATE: Lindsay Posts Upbeat Q3 Results

reported a 38% rise in its fiscal third-quarter earnings. Lindsay's quarterly profit surged to $26.1 million, or $2.01 per share, from $18.8 million, or $1.47 per share, in the year-ago period. Its revenue surged 28% to $219.5 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $1.80 per share on revenue of $208 million. Its gross margin widened to 28.7% from 28.5%. Lindsay shares closed at $74.91 yesterday.
