Hermes 2012 Net Profit Rises 24.6%

Hermes International SCA (OTC: HESAY) reported an increase in its profit for 2012.
Hermes' net profit for the year climbed 24.6% to 740 million euros ($958 million), from EUR594 million, in the year-ago period.
Its revenue gained 22.6% to EUR3.48 billion, while operating profit jumped 26.4% to EUR1.12 billion from EUR885 million.
Hermes also proposed a dividend of EUR2.5 per share, up from EUR2 per share.
Hermes shares closed at $33.48 yesterday.
