Tauron Q4 Net Profit Drops 23%

Polish utility Tauron Polska Energia SA posted a 23% fall in its consolidated Q4 net profit.

Tauron's quarterly net profit declined to 192 million Polish zlotys ($60 million), from PLN250.6 million, in the year-ago period.

Its operating profit fell 5% to PLN308 million, while sales rose 16.8% to PLN6.5 billion.
