Admiral Group Posts 15% Increase In 2012 Pretax Profit, Raises Dividend

reported a 15% rise in its profit before tax for 2012 and lifted the final dividend to 45.5 pence per share from 36.5 pence per share. Its pretax profit for the year surged to GBP345 million, from GBP299 million in 2011. Admiral's net revenue climbed to GBP984.3 million from GBP870.3 million, while diluted EPS gained to 94.9 pence from 81.7 pence.
