UPDATE: MannKind Posts Wider Q4 Loss

posted a wider fourth-quarter loss. MannKind posted a quarterly loss of $51.8 million, or $0.23 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $36.4 million, or $0.30 per share. However, analysts were expecting a loss of $0.17 per share. It posted a loss of $169.4 million in 2012. MannKind shares gained 1.56% to $2.60 in after-hours trading.
