Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

Wall Street expects Loews (NYSE: L) to report its Q4 earnings at $0.30 per share. Loews shares declined 0.02% to $43.84 in after-hours trading.

Google's (NASDAQ: GOOG) Chairman Eric Schmidt plans to sell 3.2 million shares out of his 7.6 million shares in the Internet search leader. Google shares fell 0.68% to $780.00 in the after-hours trading session.

Analysts are expecting Lions Gate Entertainment (NYSE: LGF) to have earned $0.16 per share on revenue of $707.02 million in the third quarter. Lions Gate shares gained 0.90% to close at $19.13 on Friday.

Avista (NYSE: AVA) lifted its common stock dividend by 5.2% to $0.305 per share from $0.29 per share. Avista shares rose 0.27% to close at $26.11 on Friday.

Analysts expect Nielsen Holdings N.V. (NYSE: NLSN) to report its Q4 earnings at $0.58 per share on revenue of $1.48 billion. Nielsen Holdings shares fell 0.43% to $32.67 in after-hours trading.
