UPDATE: C.H. Robinson Posts Surge In Q4 Profit

reported a rise in its fourth-quarter earnings. C.H. Robinson's quarterly profit climbed to $256.4 million, or $1.58 per share, from $109.2 million, or $0.67 per share, in the year-ago period. Excluding one-time items, its adjusted earnings came in at $0.68 per share. Its revenue rose 16% to $2.97 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.70 per share on revenue of $2.87 billion. Its operating margin narrowed to 4.5% from 6.7%. C.H. Robinson shares closed at $67.01 yesterday.
