Bharti Airtel Q3 Net Profit Down 72%

India's Bharti Airtel reported a 72% fall in its Q3 net profit. Bharti Airtel's quarterly net profit dropped to 2.84 billion rupees ($53 million), versus 10.11 billion rupees, in the year-ago period. Its revenue climbed 10% to 202.39 billion rupees, versus 184.77 billion rupees. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of 7.96 billion rupees and sales of 202.89 billion rupees.
