UPDATE: Fastenal Posts In-Line Q4 Profit

Fastenal Co (NASDAQ: FAST) reported a 12.9% rise in its fourth-quarter profit.
Fastenal's quarterly profit climbed to $98.7 million, or $0.33 per share, versus $87.5 million, or $0.30 per share, in the year-earlier period.
Its sales gained to $757.2 million from $697.8 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.33 per share on sales of $758.62 million.
Fastenal shares closed at $47.00 yesterday.
