UPDATE: Rite Aid Posts Q3 Profit

swung to a profit in the third quarter. Rite Aid posted a quarterly profit of $60.5 million, or $0.07 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $54.5 million, or $0.06 per share. Its revenue fell to $6.24 billion from $6.31 billion. However, analysts were expecting a loss of $0.03 per share on revenue of $6.2 billion. Rite Aid shares jumped 19.05% to $1.25 in pre-market trading.
