PZU Posts Upbeat Q3 Profit

Powszechny Zaklad Ubezpieczen SA reported a rise in its third-quarter net profit. PZU's quarterly net profit surged to 1.12 billion zlotys ($343 million), beating analysts' estimates of PLN842 million. Its net claims climbed 11% to PLN2.91 billion.
